Colin's London to Paris Bike Ride 2016

I will be cycling from London to Paris and I will be thinking of Jessica......She should be here with us all now: Please don't forget her ✨✨

Mind is a Mental Health Charity that campaigns for change - something so desperately needed for those who suffer - including providing more urgent support for those in crisis, challenging stigma of those who face mental health difficulties and advocating for those whose voice is often unheard.

To contribute to this charity myself and Phil Sobanski (the two of us sporting a combined age of just over 113 years young and various ailments !!!) will be competing this bike ride over four days.

My personal motivation for this is to try and raise money to help those suffering mental health difficulties, to try and educate, provide support and raise awareness of suicide loss. Jess was my step-daughter and I have witnessed the devastation her absense has brought to those who loved her so dearly. I feel it is a privilege to honour her memory and dedicate this event to her - she adored France and the families memories are so intertwined with this country that I am sure she will be watching with others my attempt to navigate the Champs d'elysee with a smile....Lots of love Jessie from Colin x
