Timeless.

We can hear Rob Hingley use these words to describe his favourite music and friends. We can use those words to describe and celebrate him.

In memory of the brilliant Rob Hingley. Irreplaceable friend, musician and force of nature. He was a soulful and wonderful guitarist in the band "The Many Few" and a compassionate university librarian. The best friend to us all. Rob lived his life full of love for his friends and music. He was a walking music library with a beautiful smile. He was funny, bright, humble, sensitive and deeply protective of his friends.

That smile of his would sparkle when met for catch ups, for gigs, as a band brother and as part of the audience, with the cheeky smile and the ever present stylish attire. He would laugh and make his band laugh until we cried. Rob was part of our family. This is not goodbye, he will live on in our hearts, and the music he made. Timeless Rob, we know the tardis will take you somewhere, where you play guitar and bass, and attend your favourite gigs eternally, surrounded by your friends and surrounded by love and peace. It's ok mate.

This is in memory of Rob Hingley who passed away in May 2020. He was young, full of life and he was loved. Many people around the world are struggling under the pandemic. If anyone needs support in mental health or to talk, you are not alone you can always turn to the good people who work at MIND."Love to all and sundry" and "Suffice to say love and respect each other. You know it makes sense."

The funeral service will be held Monday 8th June at 3.30pm at Islington and St Pancras Cemetery, 278 High Road, N2 9AG. Due to limited capacity in these times, attendance is full.
