On 2nd February 2020 we lost James, this was devastating for the whole family and everyone who knew him. James was one of a kind, the life and sole of the party. He would light up any room he walked into and had the ability to put a smile on anyone’s face. He was fearless, determined and hard working which served him well in his career as a National Hunt Jockey. In his life he achieved many great things which we will always be so proud of. James was a joker and a gentlemen with an infectious personality and a sharp sense of humour and that is what we will all remember. He will be greatly missed by a significant number of people whose lives he touched. 'Best of British'

There is nothing we can do to bring James back but as a family we want to create awareness for Mental Health as we don't want anyone else to have to go through what we have. It effects more people than you might realise and from any background. Depression, addiction, anxiety, bereavement, loneliness and abuse are some of the causes which can effect our mental health and maybe to someone you know. By raising awareness hopefully someone out there suffering will have the courage to be honest and seek the help they deserve.
