    Memory space is a free to use tribute fund, which you can set up to collect charity donations in memory of a loved one.

    A tribute fund is a way to collect donations for charity, usually in memory of a loved one.

  • Do I have to pay any money to set up a memory space?
    No, a memory space is free to set up. Please bear in mind that we would be grateful if you use your memory space to raise funds for Mind, in memory of your loved one.
  • If I make a donation, can I keep the amount I give private?
    Yes, when you make a donation, just tick the box to keep your donation amount private.
  • Can I leave a message or photo on someone’s memory space without giving any money?
    No, we ask that a donation is given with any message, so that money can be raised for Mind, as well as protect us from unwanted messages.
  • Do I have to give a target for raising funds on a memory space?
    No, it is optional to set a target.
  • If people make donations on my memory space, what percentage will reach Mind?
    100%. Mind has created memory space so that all of the donations come directly to us.
  • Can gift aid be applied to the memory space donations?
    Yes, simply tick the gift aid box when you make a donation please.
  • How do I set up a memory space for my loved one?
    Go to the memory space home page and click on ‘Create a memory space’.
  • How can I tell my family and friends about my memory space?
    When you set up a memory space, you will have a unique ‘URL’ (a web page link) that you can forward to friends and family.
  • What can I add to the memory space once I’ve set it up?
    You can add photos and stories to share with everyone. You can also set up as many fundraising events as you like, so that all of the donations in memory add up to make a grand total.
  • What if I haven’t got a photo of the person I’m remembering?
    Simply choose from one of the general images that we offer.
  • How will a memory space help people with mental health problems?
    100% of your donations will come directly to Mind, to help people who experience all types of mental distress. For more info please visit
  • How do I change the memory space page once I’ve set it up?
    If you’d like to change any of the photos or writing that you’ve included on your page, you just need to edit the page after you log in.
  • Can I add offline donations to my memory space?
    Yes, all you need to do is add in this amount to the 'offline donations' section.
  • Can I fundraise through events from my memory space?
    Yes, we hope that you will! Simply click on 'Create an event in memory' and follow the simple steps from there.
  • How do I order funeral collection envelopes?
    Please email and let us know how many collection envelopes you would like, where you’d like us to send them to and the date you need the envelopes for. Thank you.
  • How can I donate in memory if I don’t set up a memory space?
    You can send donations by a cheque made payable to ‘Mind’ to: Mind 15-19 Broadway London E15 4BQ Or, you can donate online at and click on ‘I’m donating in memory of someone’ (if appropriate).
