Great Manchester 10k run

Event date

18th May 2014

Ian went to watch the Great Manchester 10k run last year at the end of May. We were watching friends and family take part and he turned to me and said " you never know I might be running next year." Sadly he took his own life on 17th June 2013, just 3 weeks after the event.

We are hoping to create a team running for Mind with Ian's photo on our T shirts and to run in his memory. We already have :

me, Janet Wilkinson, Ian's mum,

Rachael Lawrence, Ian's sister,

Ruth and Steve Tickle, his aunt and uncle

Jess Tickle, Ian's cousin

Fiona Sagar, Ian's friend from Uni

Lizzie, Caroline and Joyce Barclay, friends from school

who have booked their places.

If anyone else would like to join us on the starting line, please do. Enter for a place and then offer to run for Mind.
