My favourite memory

Sophie Elizabeth Armstrong was our hero. She was a teeny tiny ball of globetrotting, roller skating, adventurous energy who laughed loudly and sneezed repeatedly (sometimes up to 12 in a row, like it was some sort of mutant skill!). She loved her family and friends and we loved every minute that we were fortunate enough to spend in her wonderful, hilarious and effortlessly cool company.

Sophie also suffered from an inner sadness that wasn't visible from the outside. It wasn't something that could easily be mended or reasoned with and though she fought bravely against it for as long as she could, on the 27th of February 2016, Sophie sadly took her own life.

Soph has left us with beautiful memories of the times we spent together and we are truly blessed to have had the pleasure of knowing her, however there is now a Sophie shaped hole in our hearts that we will never be able to fill.
