Simon was a beautiful person. Completely selfless - he always thought about other people and did all he could to support his family, friends and even people he did not know. 

Unfortunately in the last 18 months the pressure of life meant that Simon became ill with stress and anxiety.

This is a paralysing illness, which is becoming more common in today's world, afflicting 1 in 4 people at some point during their lifetime. 

A lot of people suffer alone, without any help and there is also a lot of mis-understanding, which is why it is very important that as individuals we become more aware.    

The good news is that much more is known today about how treat people that are suffering, including many alternative therapies (CBT and Mindfulness). Help is on hand but more can be done.

I know that Simon would have wanted to help other people who are suffering in the way that he did.
