I'm not very good at running, or swimming, or riding a bike but I want to raise money and awareness of depression and stop the stigma surrounding mental illness in memory of a truly amazing husband, dad, grandad and friend who sadly took his own life 10 years ago after battling mental illness at the age of 65. One in four people suffer from mental illness at some point in their lives, it is time to change peoples opinion of it, its not a weakness or a failure of any kind.
